Lord Mayor confirms parking charges will not be increased

Lord Mayor Katrina Fong Lim

The City of Darwin will tonight release their Draft City of Darwin 2017/2018 Municipal Plan and Annual Budget.

Lord Mayor Katrina Fong Lim spoke to Katie Woolf on 360 this morning. While she didn't reveal any details from the Annual Budget she did reveal parking rates will not be increased.

"The fees and charges for car parking will remain the same. That's in recognition that we are still going through an economic downturn," Fong Lim said.

"I think that is good news for the City."
