She may live almost her entire life on film, but airing out her divorce settlement for the world to see is one thing Kim Kardashian wants to avoid.

Perhaps understandably so, as any normal person would, but these demands come on the back of ex-hubby Kris Humphries' claims that the whole marriage was a sham, and that the divorce proceedings should be filmed so that everything is exposed.

Kim is fighting to keep it off camera, and wants the divorce to only be heard by a private mediator.

"A public trial is the last thing Kim wants, and she has instructed her lawyers to formally petition the court so that the divorce can be heard by a mediator," a source told RadarOnline.com.

These demands seem slightly surprising, not only because every other part of her life is completely and utterly in the public eye, but that they also lend some credibility to Humphries' claims that the whole thing was just for show.
