"There's no such thing as coincidences in politics"

Robyn Lambley

Independent Member for Araluen Robyn Lambley has referred outgoing Chief Minister Michael Gunner to the Independent Commission Against Corruption, over allegation he misused public funds going into the last election.

She says it's alleged he used up to $40,000 in travel expenses to visit remote communities for campaign purposes during the election caretaker period, a breach of protocol.

In a press conference after his resignation in Parliament, when questioned about the allegations and whether he had skeletons in his closet, Gunner responded that the only thing in his closet are "bad shirts".

Nicole Manison when talking to Katie Woolf referred to the allegatios being linked to the resignation as "total garbage", and said she is disappointed in Lambley.
