Increase in magpie geese bag limits set to result in bumper season

The bag limit for magpie geese will increase when the waterfowl hunting season begins in September. 

Hunters will be able to take 7 geese up from 3 a day last season after an 89 per cent increase in population numbers. 

NT Field & Game Association's Bart Irwin expects it'll be a bumber season.
