"You'd have to show there is no risk to the community"

Katie Woolf spoke with Independent for Nelson Gerry Wood.

There has been plenty of conversation last year about the lack of water in the rural area, and things have slightly changed since the rains of late.  Gerry Wood believes we need the scientific knowledge and this still needs a lot of work on it.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has mentioned the Inpex could be the quarantine location for the coronavirus. 

In reaction to Peter Dutton's comments Gerry said, "You'd have to show there is no risk to the community, and one of the areas of risk would be people jumping the fence".
