2022 Australian Women's Health Diary
Fri 1 Oct 2021 to Mon 31 Jan 2022
Thank you for your support last year of our 2021 Australian Women’s Health Diary. I’m delighted to advise it raised $900,000 to support breast cancer research which is just amazing! This would not have been possible without you.
The 2022 edition will be soon available, and I hope to have your support once again. We’re counting on the diary to generate much-needed funds for our breast cancer research program following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our fundraising efforts.
This year breast cancer is estimated to be the most commonly diagnosed cancer in not only Australia but worldwide! Every day 55 people are diagnosed, that’s 1 person every 26 minutes. And tragically, recent statistics released by the AIHW states that breast cancer is projected to be the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in females aged 20-59 this year – these women are our mothers, our partners, our daughters, our friends. Together we can change this.
This diary supports clinical trials research for the treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer. This research is critical to ensure every person gets the personalised treatment they need to cure them of their breast cancer, forever.
