Every year, Darwin Waterfront hosts the Territory’s largest New Year’s Eve celebration and this year is no exception!
Supported by local artists, kids entertainment, food stalls and two spectacular firework displays, Darwin Waterfront is excited to announce Australian rock-band, Birds of Tokyo as the headline act for 2022.
Performing hit songs ‘Lanterns’, ‘Plans’ and ‘I’d Go With You Anywhere’, Birds of Tokyo will take the crowd to the 9pm fireworks before local DJ Lady Kay rings in 2023.
Local artists Mel Gray and Glen Forner will perform earlier in the evening, with Banana’s in Pyjamas entertaining the kids at the start of the night.
Pack a picnic, sit back and enjoy excellent entertainment at the Top End’s only free, public New Year’s Eve event.
New Year’s Eve at Darwin Waterfront will be a non-ticketed, alcohol and smoke free event.
Waterfront restaurants will be open on the night and bookings are essential.
