Investigations are ongoing after two pedestrians were stuck by a car in Coolalinga overnight.
Two men aged 33 and 39 were seriously injured after being hit by a car travelling inbound on the Stuart Highway near the service road at 7.45pm.
The alleged driver, a 29-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and called emergency services.
Both men were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital after one initially fled the scene.
One man required surgery having sustained leg, arm and pelvis injuries, with the other seriously hurting his arm.
Police have ruled out drugs and alcohol, with efforts ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
