Man seriously injured after alleged assault, police call for witnesses
A man is being flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition after he was allegedly assaulted in Tennant Creek overnight.
Police were called to an incident on Bornite Street just before 10:30pm and found the 42-year-old had with a significant chest wound.
Officers administered fist aid until he was able to be taken to the Tennant Creek Hospital.
A 38-year-old woman, who is known to the man, was arrested at the scene.
She is assisting police with their inquiries.
A crime scene has been established and police are appealing for witnesses.
