Three people have been arrested following an assault and grog theft in Woodroffe.

It's alleged two men and one woman robbed a bottlo on Baldwin street esterday afternoon, before assaulting an employee and taking off.

The trio were found shortly after, a 21-year-old has been charged with robbery and aggravated assault, a 35 and 28 year old have been charged with aggravated robbery.

All are expected to face court at a later date.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier has slammed the actions of the group.

“An employee was callously assaulted in his workplace for a small amount of alcohol. The behaviour of these three is completely unacceptable.”
