Bitter Springs reopens despite croc evading capture
A popular swimming hole south of Katherine is back in business after a crocodile forced its closure earlier in the week.
NT Parks and Wildlife rangers have spent three consecutive nights spotlight Bitter Springs but say there's been no sign of the freshwater croc, that's believed to be around two metres long.
A statement on social media said rangers found no evidence that the animal is still in the area after nocturnal and diurnal surveys.
The department is urging the public to #becrocwise and report any suspected sighting to Park Rangers or the Wildlife Management Team.
