Jingili service station target of armed hold up
Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad are investigating an armed hold up at a Jingili service station early this morning.
"Just before 2.00am a Caucasian male armed with a small pocket knife entered the Jingili Puma service station. The offender approached the consol operator and the jumped the counter, threatening him. The offender attempted to open the till before departing empty handed. The offender left the service station and was last seen running down Rothdale Rd", said Duty Superintendent Chris Board.
He's described as 6 foot tall, slim to medium build. He was wearing dark coloured shorts, a black long sleeve shirt, a black cap and a white t-shirt wrapped around his head in an attempt to disguise himself.
Police have identified a number of vehicles that were driving past at the time and Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have seen the offender or anyone acting suspiciously to contact authorities.
