More police will be patrolling Darwin streets following two indecent assaults across the city this week.
A woman in Parap woke up to see a naked man standing over her own bed assaulting her on Tuesday night, while 24 hours later a female in Larrakeyah woke up to a man holding his hand over her mouth.
In both incidents the offenders fled the scene when the victims retaliated and remain at large.

Detective Senior Sergeant Toby Wilson says they’re now trying to determine if the cases are linked and is urging residents to remain cautious.
