NT Police Association President Nathan Finn says a pay offer for NT police has been endorsed and will be put to members for a vote after a series of information sessions and roadshows across the NT. 

He told Katie Woolf the offer includes a 5 per cent increase in the first year, 4 per cent in the second year and increases of 3 per cent in the following two years. 

Mr Finn says he would have liked more for members but avoiding going to the arbitration tribunal is the best outcome, adding that NT Police remain one the best paid in the country.

In regards to the OC Spray roll out, Mr Finn said he is concerned about the self-declaration to buy it and the fact there are no limits on the amount people can purchase.
