Health Minister says PRH hydrotherapy pool is available to anyone with a referral and if that’s not happening, he’d like to hear about it

Minister for Health Steve Edginton says the hydrotherapy pool at Palmerston Hospital remains accessible to anyone with a referral, adding that he’d like to hear if there are other barriers people are facing.
Asked about ambulance ramping at Royal Darwin Hospital, he told Katie Woolf it goes back to aged care patients occupying 60 to 80 hospital beds per day, and he’s questioning where the new aged care facility is at, which was an election commitment of the Federal Government.
Regarding public housing issues, Mr Edgington says since March eight tenancies have been terminated, with 17 matters before NT CAT, adding that common areas in large unit complexes have now become alcohol restricted areas, flagging that there are more changes to come.
