Treasurer Bill Yan says he has written to Federal Infrastructure Minister Catherine King to advise that the NT Government is pulling the pin on the ATSI Art Gallery in Alice Springs due to changes to the proposed site and significant costs to deliver it.

Asked if the CLP’s approach of issuing an ultimatum to the Commonwealth and then withdrawing from the project will sour the relationship, Mr Yan said he believes his relationship with the Minister remains strong.

Mr Yan also told Katie Woolf the bus driver strike on Monday will be quite disruptive for Territorians and says operator CDC has been asked to do everything they can to seek a resolution.
