Authorities are calling on information from the public following an alleged sexual assault in Darwin CBD.
Police say the incident took place shortly before 1am on Saturday (December 13), when a man assaulted a woman at the Knuckey Street end of Smith Street Mall.
A 48-year-old man was arrested at the scene a short time later and has since been charged with sexual intercourse without consent.

He remains in custody and is set to face Darwin Local Court in January.
