Katie Woolf turned attention today to the emergency situation developing in the Red Centre as floodwaters breached the Todd River banks, inundating Alice Springs.

Several people had to be rescued from the raging waters, but thankfully the levels were receding mid-morning, but all eyes will be watching the catchment over the next few days to ensure preparations are in place should waters breach the banks again.
