Airline pulls the pin on Darwin

Air Asia has announced it is suspending its flights between Darwin-Bali and Darwin-Kuala Lumpur from the end of April, claiming challenging commercial operating conditions.

Customers began receiving flight cancellation notifications on Monday evening, with the Minister for Trade and Business, Robyn Cahill, expressing frustration about this commercial decision on 360 with Katie Woolf, insisting the airline didn’t give it enough time.
