The Chief Minister spoke with 360 with Katie Woolf to reveal all Government schools will be closed by Midday with parents and carers asked to collect their children, with Katherine High, MacFarlane Primary School and Casuarina Street Primary to be made available for authorities to open them as emergency shelters if or when required.

Lia Finocchiaro also said evacuating patients from Katherine Hospital was a precautionary step to make sure they continue to receive safe care.
