Health Minister Steve Edgington insists he is at arms length from the procurement process around the aeromedical contract for the Top End, which 360 revealed will move from Careflight to the Royal Flying Doctors Service.

But with concerns about the change – Mr Edgington has promised NT Health will establish a robust transition period between the organisations to ensure continuity of services.
