The Health Department has confirmed there is a recurring mould issue at Casuarina Plaza after the Health Services Union raised concerns workers and the public were being exposed.

Acting CEO Susan Bowden says she has received a report from an environmental specialist on the issue and a deep clean is set to take place.

But confirmed workers won’t be completely relocated.
