Northern Territory Legislative Assembly to debate laws tomorrow

The CLP Government will introduce the Rights of the Terminally Ill Bill tomorrow – which is the NT’s voluntary assisted dying laws – it’ll be a historical moment in NT history more than 30 years since the Commonwealth overturn the Territory’s first laws.

The Chief Minister has backed her legislation insisting it is purposely drafted to be patient led – pushing back against calls for amendments on the Doctor gag clause and illness timeframe.
