Alice Springs Mayor Matt Paterson is calling on the public broadcaster to remove its stories about a recent community crime meeting.

The ABC admitted it failed to provide full context of the meeting but Councillor Paterson says the apology doesn’t go far enough.

With the recommendations from the Anderson report imminent, Councillor Paterson told Katie Woolf he wants the Stronger Futures Legislation reintroduced to help tackle crime.
