AFANT outlines commitments from parties and independents ahead of NT election
Amateur Fishermen’s Association NT CEO David Ciaravolo says Labor and the CLP have made a number of election commitments in response to 43 questions asked by the group, with both promising to phase out gillnetting.
He told Katie Woolf the reforms will be a big challenge for whoever wins government as well as the Ministers, saying it’ll involve a massive cultural change for the fisheries division.
