NT Police Association President Nathan Finn is concerned about impacts on police operations given that the former Commissioner’s pay-out was funded out of the police budget.

He told Katie Woolf the pay-out figure will be divulged through the next budgetary process claiming if it was to be kept confidential it should have come out of other government streams.

Mr Finn says the amount of overtime being done by the force equates to 72 additional officers each day, highlighting the NT’s resourcing issues.
