Deputy PM and Defence Richard Marles says Australia is expanding its commitment to Ukraine, with ADF troops to continue training recruits in 2024.

He told Katie Woolf the Commonwealth is spending $186 million this year and next year with the training to be expanded to junior officers.

Mr Males says the next rotation of soldiers will see 90 deployed up from 70 this year for three month periods.
