NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says bail laws will be reviewed when it comes to edged weapons as well as the penalties.

She told Katie Woolf the review will also investigate police powers with a view to allowing weapons to be seized on suspicion.

Ms Fyles says police will also ramp up their presence around bottle shops and retail stores in a bid to help keep workers safe.
