Chief awaiting advice on tabling ‘jobs for mates’ ICAC report in parliament and hasn’t ruled out inquiry into treatment of Colleen Gwynne

Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro says she hasn’t ruled out an inquiry into the treatment of former NT Children’s Commissioner Colleen Gwynne in the aftermath of the ‘job for mates’ saga with Police Commissioner Michael Murphy.

The Chief told Katie Woolf she is also awaiting advice regarding her intention to table the full ICAC report on Michael Murphy in NT Parliament, saying it is in the public interest.

Ms Finocchiaro says she will also unveil the government’s ‘Rebuilding the Economy’ strategy tomorrow, which will focus on the NT’s key strengths and getting the ‘biggest bang for buck’ with a number of KPI’s.
