Chief calls for ADG and Defence to come up with clear plan around Darwin Airport runway works
NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says a final tender for repair windows at Howard Springs is yet to be awarded.
The government’s already spent $280,000 on fixing the facility following the departure of flood evacuees ahead of Defence personnel moving in.
Ms Fyles also told Katie Woolf she wants the Airport Development Group and Defence Force to provide certainty around the timeline of runway works.
She’s calling on them to make a clear plan and communicate that to Territorians to reduce impacts on their travel plans.
