NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says a ballot could be conducted in weeks to firm up alcohol restrictions in Alice Springs town camps.

She told Katie Woolf some community leaders want alcohol to be accessible, while others do not.

Ms Fyles also confirmed that hand sanitiser has been removed at the Alice Springs hospital over concerns people were drinking it.
