Chief Minister defends proposed amendments to Anti-discrimination Act

Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says reforms to the NT’s Anti-discrimination Act aim to protect minority groups.

The Chief told Katie Woolf there are already protections in the act for faith-based schools allowing them to discriminate on religion, which will remain in place.

Ms Fyles expects the laws will pass through Parliament before the end of the year and be gazetted in July.
