Chief Minister reveals timelines for bail reforms and knife crime strategy

Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says a review into bail and weapon offences is still a while off with legislation expected to be introduced into parliament in July.

She told Katie Woolf a draft knife crime strategy is expected to be complete by the end of August.

Ms Fyles says additional police resources have been deployed to Katherine including members of the mounted unit to help deal with the current crime wave.
