NT Chief Minister Natasha Fyles has again tried to defend the government’s stance on crime following another fatal stabbing in Darwin City.

She told Katie Woolf they’ve provided police powers to search people for knives, strengthened bail laws and are working across government agencies.

Although admitting there are no new solutions on the horizon, Ms Fyles is reassuring the community that the government is capable of tackling crime.

Regarding Bonza Airline’s lunch in the NT, the Chief says the government is open to extending incentives for the aviation sector to ensure the longevity of operators.
