Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says the NT Government is trying to balance people’s legal right to access grog and the harm it causes to society.

When questioned by Katie Woolf, the Chief would not admit the government backflipped on alcohol policy, reintroducing a Territory-wide ban until management plans are approved.

Ms Fyles says the crime crisis is a result of decades of complex issues.

She also noted that 30 non-government organisations in Alice will be subject to an audit, ensuring they are working effectively with government bodies to deliver outcomes.
