Chief says she won’t be supporting calls for justice reforms on raising the age and programs

Chief Minister Eva Lawler says the government will not be signing an open letter from community leaders and frontline services calling for justice reforms including reducing incarceration, community-based programs and raising the age of criminal responsibility to 14.

She told Katie Woolf Labor’s pre-school announcement would see it become available for full days, in line with transition, helping parents save on childcare costs and enhancing early learning.

When asked about Moulden oval, Ms Lawler says DIPL and the Education Department will work together to fix the bore and remediate the field which was badly burnt on Territory Day.
