Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says she supports an investigation into allegations of racism within the NT police force following evidence by former Constable Zachary Rolfe at the inquest into the death of Kumanjayi Walker.

She told Katie Woolf the CLP is focused on driving down crime and supporting police to deliver a safer Territory.

Ms Finocchiaro says if elected they’ll lower the criminal age of responsibility to 10 so young offenders can be arrested and sentenced to programs, with those being neglected removed from family and taken into care.
