Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says she’s disappointed bail reforms won’t be debated in parliament today after submitting it as a matter of public importance.

She told Katie Woolf only one matter of public importance can be dealt with each day and reforms to the prison system, including alternatives to custody trumped theirs.

Ms Finocchiaro says the CLP will still prosecute the government at every opportunity for failing to keep Territorians safe.
