Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says the CLP has no plans to match Labor’s commitment of $60,000 home builder grants after announcing its own first home owners scheme of $50,000 grant in May.
She told Katie Woolf the CLP is promising to spend $1 million on a grants program for the NT’s multicultural community to improve facilities and places of worship and will fastrack the release of land for those without their own home.
Ms Finocchiaro is also questioning why the government is spruiking that 64 new constable have been sworn into the NT Police Force when 33 are still in training at police college.
