CLP supports action for Alice but says curfew isn’t enough and is questioning if it’s lawful

Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro claims that youths found within the curfew area in Alice Springs have all been taken home because services like Saltbush on Gap Road are not operating.

She told Katie Woolf the CLP agrees with concerns raised by the NT Police Association questioning if the emergency declaration for Alice Springs is lawful saying it could be putting police in jeopardy.

Ms Finocchiaro says she also supports an audit into funding for service providers, committing to do it if elected in August.
