CLP to move vote of no confidence in NT Government

Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says there was no need to return from holidays early when crime in Alice Springs was thrust into the national spotlight as her team was holding the government to account.

She told Katie Woolf the CLP would have sought to get the AFP deployed and more child protection staff into the community, with an urgent audit also conducted on support service spending.

Ms Finocchiaro says the CLP plans to give notice of a motion of no confidence in the NT Government when parliament resumes next week.
