NT Police are calling for information in the search for missing 5 year old Alice Springs girl Sharon … with concerns she has been abducted.  

NT Police Commander Mark Grieve provided the update this morning, calling for the public to be on the look out for 47 year old man Jefferson Lewis, who police believe can assist with enquiries.  

Police say Mr Lewis is the only person who has not made his presence known to officers in the area… with extensive search efforts utilising significant resources unable to locate Sharon.  

Police also confirmed Mr Lewis had recently been released from prison and had been staying at the same residence.  

The five year old girl was last seen around 11.30 Saturday night when she was put to sleep by family… with a report she was missing made about 1.35am when she couldn’t be found at her home in Old Timers Camp.  

She was last seen wearing a dark blue short-sleeve tshirt with white ring stripe around the neck and at the end of the t-shirt sleeves and a pair of black boxer style underwear.
