Member for Katherine Jo Hersey says residents are at their wits end with crime and some have even stopped reporting it to police with multiple homes and businesses broken into overnight including Anglicare and ANZ.

Ms Hersey told Katie Woolf she’s never seen the level of crime and anti-social behaviour happening at the moment and is calling on the NT Government to implement a youth curfew.

She says police are stretched with not enough officers in the town, claiming people are also being threatened with knives.
