Darwin Military Museum believes theft of two old guns was planned by a pair who paid entry

Darwin Military Museum Director Dr Norman Cramp says he’s perplexed by the theft of two inoperable firearms, which appears to be premeditated.

He told Katie Woolf two men paid to enter the museum, closed off a room and went about removing one of the firearms from a display cabinet, later returning to steal another.

Dr Cramp says nothing like this has ever happened in the 55 year history of the museum.
