NT Police were forced to revert to ramming a vehicle head on along Trower Road bringing to an end a two day manhunt.

A 33 year old man is accused of breaching his parole and evading arrest on two occasion – hitting an officer as he drove away and also smashing through a fence.

Once officers tracked him down and rammed the vehicle, a TRG officer fired a round into the car’s tyres to further disable the vehicle.

After a 15 minute negotiation period, police arrested the alleged offender.
