Driver education, greater enforcement, personal responsibility, key to addressing road toll, CLP
Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says the CLP’s election commitment to free meningococcal B vaccines will not only save lives but hundreds of dollars as the jabs currently cost $200 per dose.
She told Katie Woolf reviewing driver education, greater police enforcement and more personal responsibility by drivers are vital changes that need to happen to address the NT’s shocking road toll which now stands at 40.
Ms Finocchiaro says the CLP has no plans to make changes to drinking and driving laws but would consult police and their union.
