Durack resident Kate says she got her dad a mobility scooter, to give him independence over Christmas.

But after regrettably leaving the key in it, it was stolen overnight and has been sighted on several joy rides.

Kate told Katie Woolf she purchased the scooter ahead of their trip to Lake Argyle so her dad could see the sights.
