Police Minister Brent Potter says the NT Police budget is being boosted by $90 million, increasing it from $472 million to $561 million.

He told Katie Woolf the funds will go towards technology and recruitment, creating efficiencies and fully resourcing police so officers can surge into areas they’re needed most.

Mr Potter says $20 million is also being spent to roll out digital driver’s licences by late 2025, which will be integrated with the BDR.
