Federal Opposition Leader commits to NT Government requests to tackle crime in Alice Springs while visiting the troubled town

Federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has committed to the NT Government’s seven requests to tackle crime in Alice Springs which include changes to the distribution of royalties and making Centrelink payments on takeaway alcohol-free days.
He told Katie Woolf another election commitment of the Coalition would allow businesses with a turnover of less than $10 million to spend up to $20,000 on hospitality, which would be tax deductible, helping a struggling sector.
Mr Dutton also explains how a Coalition government would address growing antisemitism after a potential terror attack was foiled in Sydney’s north with a caravan found filled with explosives and a note listing the addresses of key Jewish targets.
