Hybrid model for Central Australia community footy comp with games allowed at Traeger Park
Alice Springs Mayor Matt Paterson says the Council has rescinded a motion stopping the community footy comp from being played at Traeger Park.
He told Katie Woolf the Council had been negotiating with AFLNT to rotate games between the town and communities each week.
Councillor Paterson says the hybrid model aims to entice people to return home after games and attend school.
